cherilyn & joe

cherilyn and joe finished out my 2011 wedding season... i missed their doggies maggie and sienna, but was thankful for the nice weather and sunshine on their december wedding day...

so pretty...

love the expressions...

sometimes your kids hang on you and are impatient, but these are the same moments you should cherish...

i've never actually cracked up so much during a ceremony. cherilyn and joe's priest was quite witty and entertaining...

pure happiness...

{insert witty comment about being choked by a rope}

i told these girls that they would later forget how cold they actually were...i wonder if i was right?

this always cracks me up....good times...

cherilyn flashes her ring to the honking cars...

a fave of mine...simple and beautiful...

um, hello cutie pie...

cherilyn and joe had quite the first dance performance... very impressive...

cherilyn's brother dj's it up...

this guy pretty much rules in my book...

hah...

my fave part about this pic is the little bit of chocolate on cherilyn's face... so cute...

although i'm still a little bit disappointed that joe didn't serenade cherilyn with his accordion, i had a great time capturing their day and appreciated them being all smiles while we photographed in the brisk december weather!

karen & david

11.11.11 was a very popular wedding date... but for karen and david, it also had a special meaning. it was their 11th anniversary of dating. love that. the news even interviewed them!

i joined them on a brisk afternoon at the new york botanical gardens...

kate spade strikes again...

cutie pie...

such gorgeous light and i couldn't decide which pics of karen i liked the best... so i posted a few... so pretty...

david... looking handsome...

when karen and david saw each other for the first time, i happen to glance over to see this...

i think he is checking out her butt...

love this...

a trend that i enjoy...

i did think about carving karen and david's name and wedding date onto one of the trees, but then my morality kicked in...

tea ceremony...

while it was a beautiful sunny day... it was also quite chilly out. warm drinks were served to keep the guests comfortable for the outdoor ceremony...

...and karen did not show one iota of shivers, meanwhile i was still cold in my north face fleece. she is a trooper!

reaction to karen walking down the aisle...

this little guy is awesome!

splits from every angle...

every once in awhile you need a good 'point and laugh'...

i love this shot... apparently the shots they just drank were not very good. hah!

i had a great time with karen and david and their friends and family... 11 years on 11.11 in 2011... loving it!
