shannon and bryan

this is my portrait of bryan
(and yes mom, i meant to cut his head off)

gangs are not funny, but a bunch of groomsmen who are clearly not in a gang flashing gang signs is...

the crossing guard left his sign unattended...

the reason i love this shot is the glint of sun peeking from behind. the sun was in and out and i just happened to catch it and i thought it made the shot... it's the little things that excite me.

the ceremony hadn't even started yet!

i'm not going to take her expression personally...

i'm still not quite sure what shannon's brother was gesturing about, but i caught him!

i hope this woman forgives me for posting this picture, but it just cracked me up because i caught her in the act of doing that thing you never wanted your mom doing to you in public.. you know, where she licks her fingers and then fixes your hair or wipes something off your face...

shannon and bryan's sign to each other in case of crying...

christmas themed centerpieces...

cutie pie flower girl...

more cowbell...

another gang sign?!?

after the wedding ended, we headed over to the diner across the street. shannon and bryan were ecstatic since they love diners!

i have an irrational fear of ketchup. luckily, i was able to take this shot from outside....far away from the ketchup...

shannon and bryan were such a pleasure to work with. they were up for anything and kept great spirits! and as always, i had a great time shooting with todd laffler. check out his fabulous take here.

liliam & stephen

liliam and stephen had an international wedding. family and friends joined in their celebration from far and wide including honduras, ireland and japan!

fun with tiffany boxes...

this is literally moments after liliam and stephen first saw each other... totally candid.

total naturals!

(and stephen told me he had some trepidations about being photographed!)

these two were so cute together... stephen could not get enough of loving liliam. his adoration for her was so clear... and made for great pictures!

love the laughter...

stephen's uncle traveled all the way from ireland to unite liliam and stephen in marriage...

laughter...

sometimes kids won't let me photograph them. they hide their heads, playing games with me... that is when you sneak attack 'em!

more laughter...

there are those things that kids can get away with that adults can't...

look for this little guy later...

after the ceremony we took a few pictures in the prayer garden that liliam and stephen tend to for their church, st. gregory the great...

i loved how stephen's nieces and nephews expressed their love to them and were excited to officially have an aunt liliam...

liliam shares a dance with her uncle, while stephen shares a dance with his mother...

this goes into the 'babies that make my life easier' file...

you've seen it before... ties always come off!

still sleeping...

i had a wonderful time photographing liliam and stephen's wedding with the beautiful weather and plenty of time to walk around the gardens. their reception was held at 'the hamilton manor' in hamilton square. thanks to robin roemer for shooting with me.

arrivederci!
